Hey y’all! I’m Tinisha Samuel, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I enjoy partnering with individuals who understand the challenges of balancing career demands, family life, personal expectations, and the lingering question: 'What about me?' Whether you're dealing with self-doubt, persistent anxiety, unresolved trauma, navigating a major life transition, or simply seeking more balance, I provide a down-to-earth space where you can drop the act and explore what truly matters.
My journey into counseling began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Wreck 'em Tech!). Since then, I’ve worked in private practice, domestic violence agencies, state agencies, and schools—constantly learning and acquiring tools to help me become the compassionate and skilled therapist I am today.
How We’ll Work Together
Your Expertise, My Support: You know your life best. I’m here to ask the questions that help you uncover strengths you didn’t know you had and recognize patterns that you didn’t realize existed.
Tools That Fit You: We’ll utilize various approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as Person-Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, selecting interventions that resonate with you and yield results.
Real Talk, Real Results: Expect honesty, warmth, and a few laughs as we tackle topics like work stress, low self-esteem, family dynamics, and more.
If you’re ready to shift from survival mode into becoming the person you want to be, let’s get started. Your next chapter begins with one conversation.
